How I Work With My Clients

My approach is tailored to the individual, couple or organisation’s staff in the room. Sessions focus on what feels most relevant in the moment, while offering structure and clarity throughout the process.

An Adaptive Process

Sessions have a clear focus while remaining responsive to what you bring. This allows the work to stay practical, grounded and flexible.

Pattern-Aware

Attention is given to emotional, thinking, behavioural and relational patterns that may be contributing to current challenges.

Evidence Informed

My work draws from solution-focused, person-centred and cognitive behavioural approaches. Sessions are guided by best practice.

Practical Application

When helpful, sessions support trying new ways of responding and applying insights outside of the counselling space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Counselling can be helpful whenever something feels difficult to manage on your own, even if you’re not in crisis. If stress, conflict, emotional strain, or uncertainty is impacting your wellbeing or daily functioning, counselling may provide useful support.

Sessions are structured and guided. You’ll have space to talk, while I help clarify patterns, explore what’s happening, and support you in developing practical ways of responding to challenges. The process is collaborative and paced to feel manageable.

This varies depending on your goals and the nature of the difficulty. Some people benefit from a few focused sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. We review this together as we go.

Medical aid claims may be possible depending on your plan and benefits. It’s recommended that you check directly with your medical aid provider for confirmation.

Sessions can be booked online or by getting in touch directly. If you’re unsure which service is the right fit, you’re welcome to enquire and we can discuss options.

    What to Expect

    What Counselling Sessions Are Like

Corporate trauma counselling supports employees and teams after distressing workplace events such as robberies, hijackings, assaults, medical emergencies, serious accidents, or sudden employee loss. The focus is on stabilisation, emotional safety, and helping individuals and teams regain a sense of functioning, without requiring detailed recounting of events.

    Flexible Format

Support can be provided through individual counselling or group sessions, depending on the nature of the incident and organisational needs. Interventions are tailored to support both personal processing and team stability where required.

    Responsive Delivery

Counselling may be offered on-site for immediate support following an incident, or off-site in counselling rooms for added privacy and containment. Online sessions are also available where appropriate.

    Ongoing Support

Support can be structured as a once-off intervention or as ongoing counselling over time. This allows employees and organisations to access continued care as needs evolve beyond the initial incident.
